Female Science Professor

I came across this blog after reading about it in a recent issue of Nature. She blogs about academic life, from the point of view of a female science professor at a big research university. Example: “Am I my husband?

She also has a book out called Academeology (random musings, strong opinions & somewhat bizarre anecdotes from an academic life). The blog is very entertaining to read, it’s good to know that the frustrations and bizarre administrative encounters that plague us are not unique to our own institution.

If you read other blogs about life as an academic, please pass then on and we will list them here (you can send an email or better yet, use the Comment feature on this blog post)
